So, I just moved to the DC metro...I am still working in Interior Design.
In the beginning, I sort of switched gears...
Upon moving here, I got a job at a Danish modern store...Not my bag! I thought that moving to 'the city' would allow me to adapt to the urban way of life...not so much. I felt oddly out-of-place and unable to relate to a lot of the clientele.
I have already gotten a new position somewhere more my speed :) I will be selling antiques from Belgium, Germany, France and England, as well as helping design custom upholstery for clients' homes.
My post, today, and probably for a bit will be based on Country Living...Below, a few photos that will inspire me this week. I think the first one especially, has motivated me to look for semi-modern floral prints that remind me of Country/French/Shabby Chic!

Mother's Day...
I recently had the chance to spend 10 days, mid move, at my mother and father's house in Anderson. My Grandmother was in town from England my entire visit--What great timing.
We spent a day in Greenville, walking around the Falls Park downtown...I really hope my mom and dad make the move to Greenville...what a pretty, green, growing city!
